Demi Lang is a British artist currently based in West Berkshire, UK.  She has a deep passion for drawing classic architecture and interesting character buildings. Her speciality lies in creating highly detailed ink drawings, utilizing a variety of mediums such as gold leaf, Indian ink pen, pencil, pastel and watercolours on fine art paper. 
Demi's work is known for its realism and representational style, capturing the essence of both local and international architecture. She magnifies some of the world's most timeless places, bringing them to life with her intricate and meticulous techniques.  Over the years, Demi has exhibited her work extensively, gaining recognition around the world. Her art can be found in many private collections across the globe. She has worked on numerous private commissions from small house commissions to large drawings of schools, private clubs and wallpaper designs.

In March 2024, Demi published her first book, ‘Drawing and Illustrating Architecture’, which has gone on to sell across the world helping other creatives learn her drawing skills and techniques.

Inspirations for her work began in her youth at college while studying graphic design. It was there that she was first introduced to the likes of the Pre Raphaelites and David Hockney and her love and fascination of fine art began. She is heavily influenced by the work and life of John Ruskin and is a great admirer of the works of Whistler, Canaletto and Edward Hopper and many others, including contemporary artists and their methods.
